Hmmm........didn't any of the other crew members notice and try to stop him?
Exactly, plus, with all those passengers and cabin crew, at least one of them would have realised something wasnt right and used their mobile phone surely?

....but do mobile phones work at such an altitude?
That of course is one of the many problems with the 9/11 story - passengers making calls to relatives on their phones.

As long as they are within the range of a cellular tower I think? The co-pilot would've clicked on the plane had changed direction pretty soon I think, unless something happened to him before the plane diverted?

It's weird how they don't know what happened to it but do know what didn't happen to it.

Like a certain other mystery closer to home, there will always be a myriad of theories (ranging from believable to bat-sh*t crazy) until hopefully one day the truth is discovered.
The one about the pilot deliberately crashing the plane comes into the BSC category in my opinion.

Tabloid muckraking about the pilot which, even if true, sheds no light on what happened to the plane.

A new programme about the mystery, 8 years on.
How strange that one of the people featured in it - Ean (presumably a silly spelling of Ian) Higgins - has also mysteriously disappeared.
