Karen Danczuk on This morning and 10.30 or so to talk about leaving kids alone. Will she mention her attack on the McCanns on the subject days ago?

En route to @thismorning On at 10.30 to discuss whether children should ever be left alone. Is it careless or teaches responsibility? KD

I doubt it.
Phil and Holly wotsit will say we can't discuss anything to do with the McCanns for legal reasons.
Unless Phil grows a pair. Holly doesn't need to.

This Morning
1 hr ·
How long can you leave a child unsupervised before it’s seen as neglect? That’s the question on our lips after watching last night’s episode of ‘The Replacement’. When leading lady, Ellen Rooney left her new-born baby in the front seat of her car while she popped into a cafe, we were left wincing. But is this irresponsible behaviour or have we became a nation of overly judgemental mothers? Let us know your thoughts below!

How can they talk about this with all the news of the McCanns and neglect around. How can they not mention it, it will look pretty obvious.

For legal reasons they won't mention it. They won't want an embarrassing repeat of the shambles with that MW-T clown.
So they'll just completely side-step and ignore it.

Let's guess....anywhere between 15 and 30 mins we can assume to be within the bounds of reasonable parenting! Sure my mother told me that??

I can only find this recent article about it on Google:

....but did she actually mention the forbidden word 'McCann' on This Morning...

No idea, I missed it, her twitter feed says nothing, and nothing on #McCann hashtag either that I can see. Did it actually go ahead?

No mention of the M word. Just about whether it's safe to leave children in cars when you go to buy petrol etc
Not really worth a watch imo

Andrew wrote:They've always poured scorn over the 'woke and wandered' scenario as that was mainly the thesis of G.A's book (fell off the back of the sofa). And they've spent god knows how many millions on trying to silence him so there's obviously truth in it.
What M-WT has done is widen the parameters a bit in some respect. And fell out with the Mc's about it as well by the looks of it.
You would actually think they would be in agreement with the 'woke, wandered outside, opportunist pick-up' scenario but they've never entertained that either.
So a quick theory... The night Mrs Fenn heard the crying abruptly stop... Could M have escaped out the door when the parents came back sozzled and fell down the steps. A serious head injury that would warrant perhaps the Mother to sleep in the childrens room the following night. Other Doc's keeping an eye on her but thought she was ok and then something fatal happened on the Thurs.... Like fell of the back of the sofa.
Just speculating.....
Portuguese police have suggested that on the evening that Mrs Fenn heard crying Kate went back to the apartment earlier than normal and earlier than the other TM members. It is reported that there was telephone activity from her mobile from between around 10.15pm and 10.30pm which is when the crying started. .
I'm not saying the Madeleine never woke and wandered away from the apartment. She may well have done. And it would not be surprising given that the parents, by their own admission, left the children alone in a strange place without a babysitter. What a horrible position to put a not yet four year old in with her younger siblings who were just over two.
But I don't think that this was what happened at the time that Mrs Fenn heard the crying. I would tend to believe what the Portuguese police have said is on the right lines: Gerry invited the curvaceous quiz host/aerobics teacher to the TM table and Kate stormed off in a fit of jealous rage.
However, I think it is quite possible that Madeleine did wake and wander on another evening....and the fact that Kate is adamant that this could not have happened suggests to me that it could happen and probably did!
